Learn to See Your World

Photackular is where I share how I see the world, and help others learn to see their own, through teaching, both in person and online. For me, photography is a way to slow down, pay attention, and find meaning in what’s already there.

What follows is a collection of moments, discovered through presence, awareness, and a willingness to look a little closer.

Most of these images aren’t planned, but found.
Moments that could easily be missed: light hitting at the right time, something slightly out of place, or a scene that just feels right.

It’s about paying attention. Slowing down long enough to notice what’s already there.

Seeing doesn’t stop with the image

Through Photackular, I share the moments behind the photos, what caught my attention, how I approached it, and why it worked.

It’s a way to explore the process, not just the result.

Learning to see is something anyone can develop

Learning to see is something anyone can develop.

Through classes, workshops, and one-on-one sessions, I help people move beyond taking pictures—and start seeing them. It’s not about gear or settings, but awareness, timing, and understanding what makes a moment worth capturing.

I teach “Learn to See” as an Adjunct Instructor at the College of Marin, helping students build confidence, curiosity, and a stronger visual point of view.

Teaching, workshops, speaking, and private sessions for individuals and groups.
